Sustainability
Sustainability is a big priority for us
We care about our impact on the planet and are always looking for ways to make our practices more responsible and low-impact.
Sustainability is at the core of our operations, driving our commitment to environmental stewardship and responsible resource management. For us, sustainability means more than just compliance. It’s about preserving the natural beauty of our surroundings and ensuring a legacy of responsible quarrying for future generations. By choosing us, you’re not only getting high-quality materials but also supporting ethical and environmentally friendly business practices. Together, we can build a more sustainable future, one quarry stone at a time.
Recycling, repurposing and reusing
We’re continually looking for ways to repurpose materials destined for land fill. This includes purchasing materials from recycling companies and using construction and demolition waste. We also use recycled road bases and slag-based pavements that are stabilised and unstabilised.
Reducing our carbon emissions
When sourcing materials, we always consider reducing carbon emissions by examining the source locations. Drawing materials from the nearest supplier, taking the shortest bulk transport route, and maximising the load weight whenever possible.

Australian sustainability standards for quarries (NSW)
In New South Wales (NSW), the sustainability standards for quarries are mainly governed by the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997, both overseen by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA). These regulations ensure that quarry operations minimise their environmental impact through stringent guidelines and compliance measures.
